At Chillwifi we recognise the importance of your privacy and are committed to protecting it and minimising the information we collect about you, limiting what we use it for and keeping it for no longer than required.
We take the protection of your data seriously and apply appropriate security measures to keep it safe. We handle and process it in accordance with current Data Protection legislation and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We never have, and cannot view, your credit or debit card details. They are held securely by Stripe.
Telecoms bills used for a provider transfer are removed from our systems once the transfer is complete.
We share only your name, address and phone number with the companies that carry out installations.
We record your marketing contact preference when you sign up.
When you enquire about our service through our website, by phone, speaking to us directly or through an independent sales agent, you give us certain information voluntarily. This includes your name, email address, phone number, eircode and any other information you give us.
When you enquire about our service through other companies and have given them permission to share your data with us, this includes your name, email address, phone number, eircode and any other information you provide.

We use your name, address and phone number for placing orders and for billing.

At times we ask for a telecoms utility bill to show us the UAN and the LINE ID, so we can make a transfer from one provider to Chillwifi. These details are removed from our systems once the transfer is complete and the bill is no longer required.
Billing is all through Stripe. Chillwifi has never been in possession of, and cannot view, your credit or debit card details, as these are saved securely on Stripe’s servers.
Stripe is a PCI Service Provider Level 1, which is the highest grade of payment processing security.
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject everything except what the site needs to work. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and nothing optional loads until you choose. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings, also in the footer of every page. Your choice is remembered in your browser for about six months.
Keeps the site, contact forms and checkout working and remembers your cookie choice. Google reCAPTCHA protects our forms from spam, and Stripe handles payments. These do not need consent.
Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd) counts visits and the pages used, so we can improve the site. Only with your consent.
Google Ads tells us when an advert led to an enquiry. Only with your consent.
The Google Map of our office and the Facebook posts feed load from Google and Meta, who can see your IP address and may set cookies. Only with your consent, or when you press the button to show them.
Google and Meta may process data outside the EEA under the safeguards they publish. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.
